We were all very excited to finally meet our cousins Angus and Stella and we had such a nice day with the whole family. Zoe and Lilia had little interest in the adorable babies!

When we lived near this great playground I couldn't walk or crawl and I mostly hung out in my stroller while Zoe ran around. It's really more fun now.

While Lilia was napping Zoe and Jeff went for a "hike" up to Kite Hill which is right near where we live. As I've mentioned before Zoe loves to wear (insists on wearing) fancy dresses regardless of the occasion.

How an obsessive blogger was able to ignore these pictures for 5 months, I don't know. Let's just say it's been a busy few months! These professional pictures were taken just around the time we learned that we were moving and we finally got the disk of them the day before we left for SF. They've been sitting in a drawer since then and it's finally time that I do something with them.

Scarves are Lilia's favorite part of her music class. She loves to cover her face with them and dance around smiling.

these shoes were made for walking...

Now that my preferred mode of transport is running I needed my first pair of walking shoes. Shoes happens to also be one of my favorite words to say these days and I spent the entire day pointing to my brand new shoes and saying "shoes, shoes." I had absolutely no trouble running in my new shoes even seconds after first trying them on. Now I just wish that people would stop trying to carry me or put me in a stroller! These days I prefer to walk or run while Zoe rides in the stroller.
