Zoe the builder

One of Zoe's favorite pastimes is building with Magna Tiles.

1st day of school

Zoe wasn't too excited to go to school today but when I picked her up she said she had had a great time and can't wait to go back tomorrow.

1-year-old!

At one year Lilia has developed a great sense of humor. She loves to laugh with her sister and loves to crawl away and laugh when we start to put clothes on her. She recently got her first baby doll as a birthday gift from Aunt Joyce and Uncle Fred and loves to feed it and say "baby, baby." She also loves my cell phone and likes to pretend to talk on it. She loves to race up the stairs. She is generally very happy and smiley.

birthday cupcakes on the beach

We had a wonderful time on the beach eating cupcakes for Lilia's birthday. It was a gorgeous warm night and the girls had a lot of fun and loved the cupcakes that Zoe had made.

Lilia's 1st birthday!

Nanky and Papa were here in the morning on Lilia's birthday. When they left Zoe made cupcakes for her sister (with a little help).

ice cream and boats at fisherman's warf

Zoe and Lilia both really enjoyed the boats and the ice cream when we visited fisherman's warf with Nanky and Papa.

fun at the zoo

We live really close to the zoo and recently had a fabulous time there.

welcome to your new home Luca!

Moving has been difficult but we are finally getting settled. Once we finally found an apartment and had our stuff delivered and unpacked it all the final piece was getting our cats Luca and Tess home. After a wonderful vacation with Aunt Jen (well wonderful for them, not always for Jen!) they were delivered home to us by Linda, Rebecca and Nanky and Papa. Here is Luca on the eve of his homecoming. We could not get pictures of Tess the day she returned because she was having some adjustment issues and wouldn't come out of the dresser drawer.

hey sis, what are you doing up there?

gardening is a family legacy...

My Grammy and my Dad both love to garden. I seem to have caught the bug too and was extremely excited to help dad spruce up our patio.

Lilia the adorable

It's been a busy month and I've fallen behind on the blog and have a lot of catching up to do so here goes...
