Zoe LOVED her first day of ski school. Afterwards she described it as "amazing!" She was really good for her first day!

fun in the snow

1st Nutcracker

The highlight of the week off from school was Zoe's first trip to the San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker with her good friend Sadie. Zoe loved the show from beginning to end. The look on her face when the tree grew was priceless! She also loved seeing the many sugar plum fairies dancing.

real butter

Zoe had a few days off from school before we went to WY so we found some fun things to do including seeing her first movie in the theater -Tangled. She loved it!

We all had tons of fun when Toby and Susan came to visit. Zoe stayed home from school and we all went to the Academy of Sciences. We also spent a rainy afternoon baking cupcakes.

quotable Zoe

"Sadie gets to light the candles herself. Her parents are really cool and don't have so many rules like you and Dad."

As you can see we buckled under the pressure and let Zoe light the candles herself that night.

bouncy place

We took another trip to the bouncy place in the mall near the hotel that we lived in when we first moved to SF. The girls had a lot of fun once again.

preschool Hannukah party

Both girls had a ton of fun at Zoe's school's Hannukah party. Zoe enjoyed dancing and running around with her friends and Lilia enjoyed a lot of attention from the big kids.

Happy Hannukah!

ridiculously cute

Okay, I know I'm biased but don't you just want to kiss those cheeks?

Granny

We had a great week in NYC. In addition to seeing a lot of friends we spent a lot of time with Granny and Grammy and Grandpa and even had a sleepover at Grammy and Grandpa's (without Mom and Dad). We can't wait to go back in the Spring!
