Zoe has picked out a lot of shades of pink and purple paint as well as some very sparkly countertops and tiles for our new house! We'll have to see if we're actually going to use any of these.

Humphry Slocombe

We love trips to Humphry Slocombe when Pappa is in town. Next time we have to try the salt and pepper flavored ice cream.

Zoe's first recital

Zoe's ballet recital was a full-blown production of Sleeping Beauty. Zoe had a great time in her very first show!

Going to the Beach

Zoe loves to make books and cards and envelopes -this is one of the things they do a lot of at school as part of their play-based curriculum. She is getting good at writing the letters and made this card "going to the beach" today (of course I told her how to spell it). She said she wanted to write "going to the beach" because it's her favorite thing to do.

Fairyland

What an amazing day we had at Children's Fairyland! It's like a little mini Disneyland right in Oakland. It doesn't have real rides like Disney but it also doesn't have the crowds or the lines. Zoe had the time of her life and we all can't wait to go back.
