Hello to Winter at the Academy of Sciences
Hot chocolate and marshmallows at a members preview of the Academy's winter exhibit which includes simulated snow for snow-deprived Californians.
Zoe's Fall play
Zoe enjoyed doing her Fall class play. She was a leaf and said 2 lines on her own. She looked very happy on the stage! She said that she can't wait for her next class play.
Golden Gate
We had a nice afternoon in a playground on the other side of the city. Note the Golden Gate bridge peeking out behind Lev.
Rainbow ribbon
Lilia was very proud to get her Rainbow Ribbon in swimming (the hardest part for her was not crying in class for 3 weeks in a row). Fortunately she seems to be past this and is doing well in her swim class.

10 months old
At 10 months Lev is waving, blowing kisses and babbling a lot. He also says "this" and "bye bye." He loves eating meat of any kind and loves to chase balls around the playground. He also has begun to be a part of the action with his sisters -he follows them around when they are playing and laughs when they are being silly.
Dia de Los muertos
We had fun meeting friends in the Mission for some pre day of the dead festivities.
The hills are alive...
We saw yet another musical at the Berkeley Playhouse. Their Sound of Music production did not disappoint. Here are some pictures of the girls with some of the cast members.
Trick or treat
After Zoe's school Halloween party we had a lot of fun trick or treating with Zoe's preschool friend Laurel.
School halloween party
Zoe's school Halloween party was a lot of fun. It featured a parade around the block, games, and the head of school made apple cider with a 100 year old apple press!
The Lorax Park
When I pick Lilia up at school we have a couple of hours before we pick Zoe up. Sometimes we go to Dolores Park which Lilia calls "The Lorax park."
