Calling for Zoe
Lev has been saying a lot of words lately. This video was taken in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago. He was calling for Zoe in the playground for a couple of minutes before I even got the camera out. Other words that he says lately are "up," "apple," "bath," "ball," "hi," "cat," "dog," "Dad," "Mama," "milk," "agua," "ice cream," and "shoes."
Gymnastics
After months and months of asking to take gymnastics Zoe finally was able to start. So far she loves it.
Sushi boats
On a day off from school Zoe wanted to go to the restaurant where sushi comes around on boats. Lev loved it too!
Valentine card for Catherine
"Dear Catherine, Happy Valentines Day. I love you because you are a great teacher. Love Zoe." Zoe chose to make her Valentines Day homework assignment card for her assistant teacher Catherine because most of the other kids were making their cards for the lead teacher Lili.

Out on the town on a school day
Zoe recently had a morning eye doctor appointment on the other side of town and we took the opportunity to have lunch together afterwards before she went to school for the afternoon. The only problem was that all she talked about was what her classmates were doing and how much she couldn't wait to join them! So much for mother daughter time.
Green ribbon
Lilia was very proud to earn her green ribbon in swim class recently. As she likes to tell everyone it means she can swim with nothing but fins on.
Playground fun
Lev loves anything that bounces up and down, the swings and his favorite is the slide! Lots of fun at the playgrounds these days.
Field trip to Pilar Point
I had the great pleasure of being a chaperone on Zoe's recent class trip to the tide pools at Pilar Point. It was a gorgeous day!
