Zoe recently finished a unit on space so a visit to the Chabot Space Center with a school friend was a Spring break must. We all had a great time.

Creativity Museum
Of course they sang "Let it Go." |
Zoe made Anna. |
Lil and her friend both made Elsas out of clay. |
Zoe was in charge of moving the clay figures just a tiny bit each time while Lilia hit the "take picture button." |
riding the J Church home with their clay figures |
During Spring break we met a friend of Lilia's and her mom at the Children's Creativity Museum. The girls enjoyed making karaoke videos and clay figures which they then had star in their very own claymation video which I will try to post here later.
Fairyland Fun
We had a fun day at Fairyland with one of Zoe's good friends. I think Fairyland was the biggest hit with Lev this time as the girls seem to be outgrowing it a bit. Lev LOVED it -he couldn't get enough of the mini ferris wheel.
Georgia Aquarium
Fun with cousins
We had a great time spending time with Sammy and his family. The kids are playing with Sammy and his canine sister Izzy here. Izzy is a sweet dog but unfortunately Lilia was very allergic to her.
Dogwood Festival
We went to a festival with a lot of rides for the kids. The girls really enjoyed the bungee cord bounce.
Bar Mitzvah Disco
Sammy's Bar Mitzvah luncheon
Sammy was fabulous during his service and the kids even got to go up onto the bima to help with the challah. We all enjoyed the luncheon that followed.
Mercury presentation
Zoe was very excited about the unit that her class recently did on space. Her assigned planet was Mercury and here she is giving a presentation on it to the class and the parents.
Roller Derby
We pulled the car out onto the street to make the garage into a roller rink. Next up watch us perform Xanadu followed by Starlight Express.

Sutro Baths
We recently visited the Sutro Baths which are remnants of a giant bath house from the Victorian period. It was a beautiful day and we followed it up with some time on the beach.
Scholastic Chess Championship
Zoe has been taking chess at school (though she's currently taking a break from it) and recently competed in her first chess tournament along with 4 others from her school. Everyone who participated was given a medal but Zoe said she's planning to practice a lot because she has her eye on one of the big trophies for her next tournament.
